Claim to Fame: This was a tough one. I had my own idea, but asked
many of my co-workers and I got a couple of different answers. It seems the
office was split between knowing Lori from either her role in 'Fame' or her role
in 'Footloose.' For me I thought of 'Footloose' right away.
Family Life: Richard Emery (1981 - 1998) (divorced) 1 child, son, Jacques
Rio Emery, born on March 1991.
Brother is actor Marc Singer ('Beastmaster')

Lori is a musician, actress and model. Is it me or is she easy to confuse
with Daryl Hannah? But early on in her career, it seemed like Lori was in
everything then she just disappeared.
Trivia: Lead character in TV series "VR.5" (1995) was originally written for
a male. [V.R. stands for Virtual Reality, and 5 being the 5th level (Level 1 is
a photograph, level 2 is like a video game, etc.)]
Was born weighing less than four pounds. Her twin brother entered the world
three minutes later.
The daughter of Jacques Singer, a famous Symphony conductor, and Leslie Singer,
a concert pianist, Lori was born into a performing family. She started playing
the cello at a very young age, and soon was

12 hours a day. It turned out that Lori was a prodigy, and at age 12 she made
her debut as a soloist with the Oregon Symphony
When Lori filed for divorce in 1996, there were allegations that her husband was
not only unfaithful, but physically abusive as well.

In 2003 Lori expanded her reach when she wrote and directed a television
commercial for "Hampton Retreats", which was a rental agency in East Hampton, NY
that specialized in renting multi-
million dollar homes.
In 2004, Lori made a cameo appearance in the Neve Campbell movie, "When Will I
Be Loved."
Lori starting filming a new murder mystery/thriller "The Mirror," in March 2006.
