Claim To Fame: Well Gregory got his big break playing Gonzo on 'Trapper John M.D.' but he also is fairly well-known for his role in 'Falcon Crest'.
Family Life: Randi Oakes (1981 - present) 4 children
Has 3 daughters and an adopted son (Emma, Lily, Kate, Quinn).
Info: Gregory has battled cocaine addiction and faced many other problems, but he has emerged victorious with his wife, Randi at his side. The two are happier than ever and have four children.
Trivia: Gregory was discovered on the musical theater stage and returns
there now and again.
Never saw snow until he was 19 years old.
While working as a doorman at a nightclub, he met Jason Robards who offered him
encouragement to become an actor. He quit his job and moved to L.A. immediately
afterward.
Gregory served two years as a medic in the Army. Received an honorable discharge
in 1971 from the Army as a non-religious conscientious objector.
He is also one of the original members of the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit
environmental organization that works to protect the coast that was founded in
1984. Harrison is an avid surfer. He claims to have ridden the waves of every
surfable ocean on almost every continent in the world.
He also enjoys swimming, kayaking and is an avid golfer.
Wife Randi Oakes is also an actress who played the character "Officer Bonnie
Clark" on the TV series "CHiPs" (1977).
First big break came in 1976, when he was cast in a guest-star role in the CBS
series "M*A*S*H".
Took up the guitar while he was in the Army and also started composing songs.
His over 25-year marriage to former model/actress Randi Oakes managed to survive
Greg's early personal battles with alcohol and cocaine.
Where Is He Now: He's still a busy actor. He has a couple of movies coming
out in the next few months and starting October 17 2007 Gregory will be on tour
for one month doing a radio play called "TOP SECRET - The Battle For The
Pentagon Papers". The cast will be reading the play as if doing it for radio but
it will be live and in front of mostly University audiences. His tour schedule
is below.
